Call for Short Papers

The 4th international conference on Semantics And digital Media Technologies (SAMT) targets to narrow the large disparity between the low-level descriptors that can be computed automatically from multimedia content and the richness and subjectivity of semantics in user queries and human interpretations of audiovisual media - The Semantic Gap.

The poster and technical demonstration session is intended to provide a showcase for recent results, innovative implementations, systems, and technologies related to semantic multimedia. Contributions will be evaluated based on significance of results, relevance to SAMT and expected impact. Demos are intended to convey a scientific result or work in progress and not to advertise software packages!

Poster and demo presentations can be proposed by submitting a short paper which is expected to be 4 A4 pages at most (formatted according to Springer LNCS style). The accepted short papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
